Strong Guard Security UK is seeking a professional and customer focused Reception Security Officer to join our team in Bury.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a first class reception service whilst helping to maintain the safety, security and wellbeing of the building, contractors and on site staff.
This is a permanent part time position requiring flexibility to cover contracted hours, overtime, weekends and bank holidays when required.
Contracted hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30-09:00 and 17:00-18:30.
Key responsibilities include
- Create and maintain a positive first impression for staff, visitors and contractors.
- Ensure the building is unlocked and secured at the agreed times.
- Provide a professional front of house and reception service.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and handover documentation.
- Assist with weekly fire alarm and lift alarm testing.
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections internally and externally.
- Deal professionally with staff, visitors and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with site specific procedures, company policies and client requirements.
- Undertake training and professional development as required.
- Ensure all information is recorded, stored and communicated securely and accurately.
- Gather and collate information for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Experience
- Experience delivering customer facing services.
- Experience working independently and making decisions in a lone working environment.
- Security experience is preferred but not essential.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports.
Qualifications
- A valid SIA Security Officer or Door Supervisor Licence.
- A valid First Aid certificate with a minimum of six months remaining until expiry.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle is desirable due to shift patterns and operational requirements.
