Our Aerospace client offers long term steady work prospects to suitable candidates with experience gained within Platform Module Design - Integrated Modular Avionics. Strongfield has been supporting the civil aircraft programs in China for around 16 years now. We will work with you throughout the whole process until you arrive and are integrated into Shanghai life. Job Description:
  • Responsible for IMA system integration work, supporting compliance with AMC20-170 in EASA certification, including incremental acceptance, health management, and data bus technologies.
  • Responsible for IMA system design, including resource allocation, fault health management, and alerting design, as well as development of related standards and processes.
  • Responsible for avionics network protocol and architecture design and optimization, improving aircraft data network standards, design methodologies, and process systems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience in IMA system integration design with program experience including data networks, health management, alerting, and resource allocation.
  • Familiar with system development assurance processes including ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-297, and AC20-170.
  • Familiar with CAAC, EASA, FAA airworthiness requirements related to IMA systems, with program experience in compliance verification.
  • Experience in network protocol and architecture design and integration, familiar with ARINC664, Ethernet, TSN, and other Ethernet based communication protocols.

Candidates must be prepared to live and work in China for 1-3 years initial contract.
