Fancy joining THE best marketing team in the North West?

Strongdor is recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive to join our fast-paced marketing team, based in Morecambe, Lancashire.

No two days are the same at Strongdor. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll help deliver everything from product launches and website content to wider digital projects, ensuring our customers and specifiers have access to clear, accurate and engaging product information across our digital and specification platforms.

We aim to strike the right balance between a professional, consistent brand and marketing that is engaging, informative and easy to understand. That means following our brand guidelines while finding the best way to communicate sometimes technical information clearly.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, has fantastic attention to detail and, importantly, loves writing great content . You’ll be confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines, working with different teams across the business and getting into the detail of our products to turn technical information into content that makes sense to our audiences.

You don’t need to be a PPC, SEO or analytics expert. For this role, we’re much more interested in finding someone who is proactive, organised and a fantastic writer.

That said, if you happen to be a whiz at PPC, SEO or analytics too, that’s definitely a bonus!

Key Responsibilities: Website & Digital Content

  • Maintain and update website content, ensuring product information is accurate, consistent and on-brand.
  • Write, edit and proofread engaging digital content in line with Strongdor’s tone of voice.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to identify and deliver improvements to website content and user experience.

Product Launches & Product Information

  • Support the planning and delivery of new product launches, coordinating content and supporting materials to meet deadlines.
  • Work with internal teams to gather and verify product specifications, features, benefits and technical information.
  • Turn technical information into clear, engaging content for different audiences.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent product information across the website, specification systems and third-party platforms.

Content Marketing

  • Create engaging, well-researched content for website pages, product launches and wider marketing materials.
  • Proofread and review content to maintain high standards of accuracy, spelling, grammar and brand consistency.

Stakeholder & Project Coordination

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across the business to gather information and keep marketing projects progressing.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities, maintaining clear records of actions, responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Take ownership of allocated projects and proactively drive them through to completion.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team to deliver digital projects and marketing activity.

What we are looking for: Essential:

  • Previous experience in a marketing, content or digital marketing role.
  • Excellent written communication and content-writing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Extremely organised with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines.
  • Confident communicating with and obtaining information from stakeholders across different areas of a business.
  • Ability to take technical or detailed information and turn it into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience updating website content using a CMS.
  • Experience working within a B2B environment.
  • Experience within manufacturing, construction or another technical industry.
  • Experience managing technical or product information.

Hours of work:
Monday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Why Join Us?

  • Discretionary bonus scheme paid quarterly.
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Annual leave purchase scheme – Purchase up to 5 extra holiday days per year

  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay with length of service
