Our client is a major special interest, youth and cultural/education European inbound tour operator working closely with the USA market. Established for many years, due to growth they are seeking a Head of Tour Operations.
A varied role, you will be managing a team who handle all the tour quotations, research into complicated special interest itineraries, operations and liaison with all the European suppliers such as hotels, transport, venues, attractions, restaurants and guides.
As Head of Tour Operations you will be working closely with your overseas clients and nurturing relationships with existing industry partners and clients. The company have consistently grown prior and since COVID and are currently on an expansion plan. The Head of Tour Operations is a newly created role and will report direct to the MD.
Head of Tour Operations must have group operational experience with a tour operator and good man management skills as you will be heavily involved in future recruitment and ongoing training and motivation of the team.
