We seek an experienced UK Hotel Contracting Manager to join one of the world's leaders in special interest, sport and youth tour operators. You will be working on negotiating rates, contracting, booking space and managing the relationships with 3, 4 and 5 star hotels throughout the UK and Ireland.
This will be a high profile role and during busy operational times you will support the operations team. The company is a leader in its field and everything they do is to uphold the excellence of customer services and work with their supplier partners with respect.
You must have experience of contracting hotels around the UK and Ireland and hold a good reputation with your suppliers. You will spend some time out of the office meeting existing suppliers and developing new ones, attending trade events such as Visit Britain, ETOA and UKInbound, and managing the relationship between the company and the hotel partner.
Part of your role will involve developing new ideas, new products and new destinations as markets change their desires of what they want to do on tour in the UK. As part of your role, you will also be contracting for products such as restaurants, attractions, sporting events and transport.
We prefer UK Contract Managers to hold a driving licence as this will make it easier when you attend fam trips or go on site inspections. The company has an array of excellent benefits and a strong and supportive management team.
