ETOA (European Tour Operation Association) boasts over 1400 members based all over the world and have a common interest in European inbound tourism. Members come from a variety of tourism sectors including hotels, tourist boards, transport, theatre, heritage sights, attractions, visitor experiences, OTAs, wholesalers, DMCs and tour operators all with a common interest to work together, supporting ETOA's efforts in lobbying central and local government on tourism issues and benefits from the many commercial events ETOA offers including seminars, webinars, conventions, workshops, and attendance on their stands at international trade shows.
We seek an Event Sales Manager on a one year maternity contract. You will help ETOA with its commercial success and sell for events being held this year in London, Mumbai, North America, and the Nordic Region. As Event Sales Manager, you will also work on key sponsorship partnership deals, develop and maintain budgets, create partnerships, increase attendance to events and be part of a high profile team. There will be some travel involved and you must be London based.
We can only consider candidates with a proven background in the tourism and travel industry and preferably knowledge of being an ETOA member so you understand what the organization does and have experience of selling and attending events. We will not respond to Event Sales Managers who haven't sold in the tourism/travel sector.
You will be working with a highly respected team and have fluency in English; any other European language would be useful. The role will be hybrid based in their Barbican/Farringdon based office. We seek an Event Sales Manager who can be flexible with their time and have the ability to travel to attend events. Successful candidates will be contacted within 24 hours of receipt of CV.
