Business Development Manager in Huntingdon

Long established European Inbound tour operator seeks a Business Development Manager to account manage key clients and to develop new business from their long haul English speaking and European markets. As Business Development Manager you will work closely with your Quotations and Operations team, ensuring they understand the client needs.

The Company work closely with specialised tours and the educational and cultural market. As Business Development Manager you must have experience of tour operations and understand product development as you will often be presenting and launching new itineraries around the clients specialised needs including the Performing Arts, Culinary, History, Geography, Science, Sports and The Arts plus many more. If you career has include preparing detailed group tour itineraries and operating group, this will be an advantage but you must also have a sales and account background.

As Business Development Manager you will be attending major trade shows and events especially in the USA and Canada to meet existing clients and to develop new contacts.

The Company rewards their Business Development Manager with commission on all confirmed groups which is paid the month the group travels. This is a hybrid role with occasional days in the office which is based approx. one hour from London close to Cambridge.
