Job Title: Scaffolding Estimator

Salary: Β£55,000 to Β£65,000 per annum

Location: Basildon, Essex – Office-based with regular travel required to client sites.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Description: As a Scaffolding Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for scaffolding projects. You\’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and the operations team to ensure all aspects of the job are covered and costs are calculated efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed scaffolding estimates and quotations from drawings, site visits, or client specifications

  • Assess material, labour, and equipment requirements

  • Conduct site surveys and attend pre-tender meetings

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments

  • Maintain accurate records of tender documentation and submissions

  • Monitor costs and provide post-project cost analysis where required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Scaffolding Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry

  • Strong understanding of scaffolding systems and industry regulations

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g. AutoCAD, CADS SMART Scaffolder – if applicable)

  • Full UK driving licence (if based in the UK)
