We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction business based in Romford. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of interior fit-out and refurbishment projects, working closely with project teams to ensure cost control, value engineering, and successful project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to progress within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full commercial management of interior fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts
  • Monitoring project costs, cash flow, and profitability
  • Assessing variations, change control, and risk management
  • Producing accurate cost reports and forecasts
  • Working closely with site teams, clients, and suppliers
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Proven experience within interior fit-out trades and construction refurbishment projects
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Full right to work in the UK
