We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction business based in Romford. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of interior fit-out and refurbishment projects, working closely with project teams to ensure cost control, value engineering, and successful project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to progress within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Full commercial management of interior fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
- Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs, cash flow, and profitability
- Assessing variations, change control, and risk management
- Producing accurate cost reports and forecasts
- Working closely with site teams, clients, and suppliers
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Proven experience within interior fit-out trades and construction refurbishment projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Full right to work in the UK
- Competitive salary of £60,000 – £80,000, depending on experience
