We are looking for a Small Works / Reactive Works Estimator to support the delivery of reactive and refurbishment projects at Stansted Airport, ranging from £60k to £1m. You will be responsible for pricing multiple projects at any one time within a fast-paced operational environment. This role would suit an Assistant Estimator looking for a step up, or an Intermediate Estimator ready to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for reactive and refurbishment works
- Review drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Carry out site visits and surveys
- Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Produce accurate cost breakdowns
- Manage multiple tenders to tight deadlines
- Support project teams with cost and procurement information
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ estimating experience within construction
