We are seeking an experienced Civils Estimator with a strong background in groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) frame projects. This role will involve leading the estimating function on projects up to £60M, working closely with pre‑construction, commercial, and delivery teams to secure and win work across London and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for groundworks and RC frame packages up to £60M
- Review tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Carry out accurate take‑offs and pricing of materials, labour, and plant
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors during tender stages
- Produce tender submissions, value engineering proposals, and cost plans
- Attend pre‑ and post‑tender meetings
- Support handover to delivery and commercial teams upon project award
- Maintain strong awareness of market rates and supply chain capabilities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Civils Estimator within groundworks and RC frame
- Experience pricing projects up to £60M
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures and groundwork packages
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with take‑off software and estimating tools
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)
- Relevant industry experience considered in place of formal qualifications
