Job Description

Strong Group Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing general haulage work based in Northwich.

We are looking for reliable, experienced drivers who are confident securing loads using ratchet straps and have a good understanding of load safety.

Inductions can be arranged around your availability, allowing flexibility with your start date. Immediate starts are available following a successful induction.

Key Responsibilities

• General haulage deliveries to various locations

• Safely securing loads using ratchet straps

• Completing daily vehicle safety checks

• Ensuring compliance with transport and safety regulations

• Completing all relevant delivery paperwork

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Recent general haulage experience

• Essential: Previous experience using ratchet straps to secure loads

• Good understanding of load security and road safety

• Reliable, professional and punctual
