Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Greenwich, London
Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 depending on experience
Package: Bonus + Company Vehicle / Car Allowance
Permanent, Full-Time
A growing scaffolding and construction contractor with turnover exceeding £20 million is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor .
The business works across scaffolding, construction and civil engineering projects throughout London and the South East and is open to candidates from Assistant through to Intermediate Quantity Surveyor level .
The Role
Working alongside the commercial and operational teams, responsibilities will include:

Commercial management of projects and packages

Applications for payment and valuations
-
Variations and change management
-
Cost reporting and forecasting
-
Subcontractor procurement and management
-
Monitoring project costs and profitability
-
Contract administration
-
Client and project meetings
-
Final account preparation and negotiation
The level of responsibility will be tailored around the successful candidate’s experience.
About You
You should have Quantity Surveying experience within:
-
Scaffolding
-
Construction
-
Civil engineering
-
Specialist subcontracting
Direct scaffolding experience would be advantageous but is not essential .
Applications are welcomed from Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking to progress as well as established Quantity Surveyors seeking greater project responsibility.
The role is predominantly office based in Greenwich , with travel to sites when required.
