Strong Base Construction is an established London construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-end residential and commercial projects. We specialise in luxury refurbishments, extensions, new builds, basement construction, and bespoke joinery.
The Opportunity
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our team. You will work closely with directors, clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to successfully deliver residential and commercial construction projects throughout London.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience
- Previous experience managing residential and/or commercial construction projects
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- English and Russian Speaking
- Excellent understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project delivery
- Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour effectively
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior design drawings
- Valid CSCS Card
- SMSTS and First Aid certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
- Monitor workmanship and maintain high levels of quality control
- Attend and contribute to site meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams
- Maintain site records, progress reports, and health & safety documentation
- Identify and resolve site issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with clients
