Lead Principal Consultant Location – Nationwide Salary – Competitive (DOE) Company Car / Car Allowance, flexible schedule, hybrid working & generous benefits package

Our Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Principal Consultant to join our growing consultancy team on a nationwide basis.

We are keen to speak to customer-focused professionals with strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act, alongside experience managing complex projects, client relationships and supporting team development.

You will play a key role in leading and expanding our building regulations consultancy service, providing expert advice to clients, designers and contractors from concept through to completion.

  • You will need
  • Demonstrable knowledge of UK Building Regulations and associated legislation
  • Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and its practical application
  • Significant experience in commercial projects, building surveying or consultancy
  • Experience working on complex developments and high-risk buildings (HRBs)
  • Proven experience managing projects and/or teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify business development opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Current valid UK driving licence
  • Desirable: Registration as a 3H Building Inspector and Plan Checker
  • Desirable: Previous line management or team leadership experience
