About the Role
Are you passionate about helping new parents navigate the world of baby gear? Stroll-On Baby, the South West’s largest independent nursery specialist, is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Sales Assistant to join our Plymouth showroom. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing expert advice and hands-on demonstrations for our premium range of prams and nursery furniture. This is a dynamic position that requires a mix of excellent customer service, technical savvy, and physical stamina.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Customer Support: Welcoming families and answering enquiries in person, via email, phone, and messaging apps.
- Expert Demonstrations: Guiding parents through our products, including folding prams and explaining safety features.
- Store Operations: Processing sales, managing daily Z reads, and ensuring the showroom is beautifully displayed.
- Showroom Care: Accepting and sorting deliveries, and keeping the premises clean, tidy, and welcoming.
Who We Are Looking For
- Essential Experience: You must have prior experience using baby products (prams, car seats, etc.) to provide authentic advice to our customers.
- Independent Worker: We need someone with retail experience who is comfortable and reliable working alone.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers and various communication apps.
- Physically Fit: Able to handle the physical demands of demonstrating heavy gear and managing stock deliveries.
- Public-Facing: A friendly, professional manner with a genuine love for helping people.
