You will be expected to accept a reasonable number of shifts to retain familiarity with operational procedures and service users’ needs. Strode Park Foundation (SPF) considers an average of 3 shifts per month to be reasonable. Our hourly rate of pay is £12.87.
This role is based at Lady Dane Farmhouse which is a beautiful 15-bedded home set in the Kent countryside on the outskirts of the historic town of Faversham. The home welcomes adults with mixed disabilities who need long or short-term residential care.
As a Bank Care & Support Worker you will look after the day-to-day needs of our service users, whilst showing compassion, care and a commitment to having a positive impact on their lives. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals, all with a desire to ensure that they are comfortable in their home.
As this is a bank position, you will support the aims and objectives of the Foundation and play a full and active part in the community so that at all times this post, either directly or indirectly, is providing the highest standard of care to people who use our services.
