At striveX, we deliver trusted accounting and tax solutions to ambitious, values-led business owners. This role is ideal for someone who loves client contact, is independent and does not want to manage a team of people. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, but have autonomy over your own workload.
Services provided by the team:
- Company Accounts – FRS 105 and 102(1A)
- Company CT600
- Partnership Accounts
- Sole-trader accounts
- Self-Assessments
- Confirmation statements
The opportunity:
You will manage a portfolio of clients directly. Your work will be spot checked, but not reviewed on a regular basis. This is a role for someone who is competent and works independently. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and filing annual accounts and returns
- Ensuring the internal deadlines and tasks are met for your portfolio
- Improving systems and workflow optimisation
- Being a role model for the junior members of the team
This is a senior role for a person who enjoys autonomy.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years’ practice experience
- Proven experience working independently
- Ability to manage workflow, prioritisation and capacity
You will not be suitable if:
- Your work is currently reviewed by a manager
- You want to manage a team of individuals
- You are not confident liaising with clients
We are looking for someone who can operate with autonomy.

Working pattern:
- Hybrid: 1 day per week in office Manchester (M3 2BY) or Stokenchurch (HP14 3FE)
- Flexitime
- Must live within 60-minute commute
- Valid UK driving licence
- £41,000–£52,000 depending on size of your portfolio, giving you the option to grow into your role.
