What You’ll Do
- Manage a portfolio of clients end-to-end, with full responsibility for delivery, deadlines, and client experience

- Take personal accountability for quality control and timely delivery across your portfolio
- Support client onboarding and handovers where required

- For some larger clients, provide a more embedded finance function support role, being hands-on with elements of their day-to-day finance operations and internal reporting
Please note: year-end services, including statutory accounts and tax returns, are carried out by our year-end team and are separate to this role.
What we’re looking for
- AAT Level 4 qualified or above
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice
- Strong technical skills across VAT, bookkeeping, management accounts, and payroll
- Excellent soft skills and confidence communicating with business owners
- A genuine interest in clients and a desire to support their business growth
- High attention to detail and pride in accurate work
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring an efficient and structured approach
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your portfolio
- A team-player mindset, willing to support others when needed
- High personal accountability for quality, deadlines, and client satisfaction
What we offer

- Monthly personal development meetings – dedicated 1:1 time with a partner to focus on personal and professional growth.
- Comprehensive study support – we cover all training provider costs, exam fees, study leave, and professional memberships (ACCA, ACA, AAT, or relevant management courses).
- Flexible working arrangements – helping you balance work with personal priorities.
- Annual workcation – fully paid trips to celebrate the team’s hard work and success.
- Private medical, dental, optical & travel insurance OR gym membership – choose the benefit that suits you best once you’ve passed probation.
- Free sessions with financial and mortgage advisors – expert guidance to help you make the most of your money.
- Full sick pay – at the directors’ discretion, we often provide full pay during illness.
