Our client is a leading global Non-Food FMCG Distributor who is currently recruiting for a Nights based WMS Technician at their state of the art site in Didcot, Oxfordshire on a Monday - Friday basis (2200hrs – 0600hrs).

Summary:

  • As part of a dedicated IT team based at the state of the art Distribution Centre in Didcot, your primary role is to provide overnight Blue Yonder support to the UK Distribution team and in the future also be the initial support escalation for Blue Yonder systems in Australia and elsewhere.
  • Monitor, maintain, and provide support for the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System.
  • Support tickets assigned to the WMS team.
  • Liaise with colleagues and customers and escalate as necessary to ensure that tickets are actioned and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction as quickly as possible.
  • Work with & communicate at all levels of the Distribution business and IT.
  • The Distribution’s business is time critical, therefore you must be able to work to tight deadlines, be able to focus on the present and manage your own tasks accordingly.
  • As this role is an overnight role, you will be expected to be a self-starter and manage your time effectively & efficiently.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • A proven WMS Analyst with excellent exposure to Blue Yonder.
  • Understand the processes of SIT and UAT, and prioritization. You will be able to fix the issues for the end user.
  • A strong understanding of Distribution methodologies, processes, and guidelines.
  • Proven track record in a Support or Operational role within an organisation is essential.
  • Ability to communicate & manage expectations at all levels.
  • Ideally have experience of JDA 9.1 Discrete, JDA 2019 or 2021 – not essential.
