Our client is a leading FMCG Distribution business, who are currently recruiting for a Warranty & Customer Service Advisor to be based at their Vehicle Maintenance Unit in Lancaster, Lancashire. The role a Monday to Friday role on a 40hour week (1000hrs – 1800hrs). Key Responsibilities: * Invoicing and controlling branch work in progress. * Check system to ensure campaigns are completed and costed correctly. * Work within credit control policy and procedures. * Carry out Warranty, Retail, Repair & Maintenance and Internal costing as per company standards. * Supply fully priced estimates of repairs required and ensure work is authorised where required. * Audit job cards, associated service documentation and customer defect procedures for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures. * Assist in achieving branch KPI’s in relation to efficiency, WIP targets, recovery rates and invoice lead time. * Meet and greet all customers on arrival in a professional and friendly manner. * Manage day-to-day administrative tasks confidently and efficiently. * Create and process job cards, checking for existing work in progress. * Check account details, available credit and obtain relevant authorisation. * Provide timely update to our customers and confirm bookings with customers. The Ideal Candidate: * Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and manage relationships. * Computer literate, competent in excel and word. * Good interpersonal skills – an ability to work as a team player within a busy department. * Ability to work under pressure and without supervision. * Effective communication skills. * Attention to detail.
