Client Summary

Our E-comm based client is a fast-growing, design-led brand looking to strengthen its Supply Chain function with a commercially focused Planning Analyst.

Working at the centre of a small, dynamic team you will be joining them at the start of a huge period of expansion in the UK following hue success abroad.

The current supply chain set up, in simple terms is China based manufacturing, E-comm based sales mostly done in the USA supplied via a national 3PL who do all warehouse stock holding & doorstep deliveries.

Role Summary

There is much to delve into, fix & resolve!

The successful candidate will own stock planning, forecasting and inventory performance across a high-SKU product range, working closely with Buying, Operations, Design and Finance to ensure product availability while optimising stock investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own stock management across high-SKU categories.
  • A strong analytical thinker & problem solver
  • Manage WSSI/trade plans and review weekly sales, intake and margin performance.
  • Forecast demand and continually reforecast based on trading activity.
  • Manage stock flow, availability and inventory risk.
  • Analyse sales, margin, sell-through and stock turn performance.
  • Lead/contribute to weekly trade meetings with commercial recommendations.
  • Work closely with Buying, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance.
  • Candidate Profile
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Stock Planning, Category Management or a strong Assistant Merchandiser ready to step up.
  • Experience within fast-paced, high-SKU environments.
  • Strong forecasting, WSSI and inventory planning experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power BI desirable).
  • Highly commercial with strong analytical ability.
