Strive are a UK wide Supply Chain & Logistics management recruiter. QA Advisor Up to £40k + Excellent Benefits Dorset Our client is a major FMCG manufacturer in the UK. We are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Quality professional as they look to recruit a QA Advisor at their site in Poole, Dorset.
Reporting into the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring compliance to the company policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities as QA Advisor:
- To co-ordinate all audit and facilitate maintenance activity within the site to company standards.
- To ensure 100% compliance to internal and external site audit standards.
- To undertake the role of site health and safety officer, with responsibility for fire safety, food safety, pest control and environmental training standards.
- To organise and coordinate the training for the site within the areas above, and ensuring individual training records are up to date and maintained.
- To monitor standards and audit requirements to ensure full compliance, as well as highlighting areas of non-compliance to relevant parties.
- To demonstrate a proactive, problem solving and investigatory approach to resolve any areas of non-compliance.
The Ideal Person for the QA Advisor role:
- Ideally, from a similar Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental background with experience of facility management, H&S and audit management.
- You will need to be a confident IT user, with excellent business administration and organisation skills with the ability to work remotely and supporting other sites as and when necessary.
- You will be someone with good communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy when working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- You will be prepared to undertake additional training to fit role requirements.
- A valid driving licence is required for this role.
