Our client is a leading lab-based testing partner to companies operating in the world's most highly-regulated industries. They are one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world. They are seeking a qualified and motivated MPI & FPI Technician to join their inspection team supporting the aerospace and casting industries at their laboratory in Birmingham. This is a Monday to Friday based role, with morning and afternoon shifts (AM / PM).
Role Overview The MPI & FPI Technician performs non-destructive testing (NDT) using magnetic particle and fluorescent penetrant inspection techniques to identify surface and near-surface discontinuities in components, materials and assemblies. The role ensures inspections are completed safely, accurately and in accordance with approved procedures, customer requirements, applicable standards and the organisation's quality system.
