Location: Preston, PR2
Annual pay in the region of £59k all in.
Allocated your own modern / new unit, to full specification for your comfort and requirements.
Monday Friday shift pattern + all nights are guaranteed
Client Summary:
We are delighted to assist this long-established, family-owned, multi-sector transport company in their search for an additional Class 1 HGV Tramper driver. From 2 depots they offer a range of services including UK wide transport / haulage services, DVSA test facilities & Repair & Maintenance services.
Distribution services include General Haulage across the UK , High-Cube Curtain-Sider Trailer Transport ,24/7 Operational Coverage?, Planning teams supporting out-of-hours operations, Contract Transport & Dedicated Coverage & Full Load Distribution

Summary:
The purpose of the role is to safely transport customer goods from collection to delivery sites, spending nights out in a dedicated HGV vehicle through the course of your shift pattern. Ensuring compliance and health and safety is conducted at all times. Requiring a professional and safety conscious attitude. xgikmsk
Ensure safe and efficient loading of your vehicle, carry out all necessary safety checks using an app and ensure customer paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the office.
Experience & knowledge needed:
Curtain sided trailer experience
In-date CPC
2 years+ (preferred) of HGV driving experience
Full UK C+E (Class 1) licence
Good understanding of UK Road Network and Health & Safety procedures
