Strive are a UK wide Supply Chain & Logistics management recruiter. Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Transport planning professional as they look to recruit a Transport Planner at their site in Burnley on a Sunday to Thursday basis (10am - 7pm).
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be part of a transport office team of three, working alongside a Transport Administrator and Assistant Transport Manager to coordinate and supervise the day-to-day transport operation. Together, you will ensure routes are planned efficiently, drivers are effectively managed, and all legal and compliance standards are maintained.
You will be a key point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal departments, helping ensure a smooth and efficient delivery operation.
