Reporting to the Transport Manager, youll work as part of a team responsible for managing the operations, compliance and most importantly the people! Youll really get the value in recognising good work in the team and making sure they are motivated will be your priority! Youll lead the team putting safety at the forefront and working towards shared goals of delivering the best serviceKey Operational Accountabilities for the role of Transport Team Manager: Coaching the team to reach their full potentialCommunicating openly and consistently, delivering key messages to the team at the right timeManaging recruitment, absence, performance conduct safety and service.
Responsible for managing commercial vehicles, cages and palletsPPE, vehicle checks CV servicing MOTs, VORs, temperature checks, near misses to name a few!
