site in Slough, Berkshire. Reporting to the Transport Manager,
youll work as part of a team responsible for managing the operations, compliance and most importantly the people! Operational
Accountabilities for the role of Transport Team Manager: Coaching the team to reach their full potential Communicating openly and consistently, delivering key messages to the team at the right time Managing recruitment, absence, performance conduct safety and service. Responsible for managing commercial vehicles, cages and pallets PPE, vehicle checks CV servicing MOTs, VORs, temperature checks, near misses to name a few! Allocating work considering individual/team capability and legal driving hours to achieve targets Carrying out good quality investigations and no matter what youre doing, youll always be promoting and managing all safety The Ideal Candidate for the role of Transport Team Manager: Excellent people management skills within a multi-drop transport operation Proven ability to drive and motivate a team to work together and achieve KPIs and operational goals Excellent communication skills Superb Transport knowledge, especially with regards to UK Legislation This is a fantastic opportunity
