Our client is a leading FMCG distributor in the UK and we are delighted to assist them in their search for a Stock & Replen Planner at their RDC in Salford, Greater Manchester. Reporting into the Replenishment Manager, you will be responsible for making sure the UK network of depots are replenished with the right products at the right time. The role will cover 5 depots within a UK network of c20.
Responsibilities within the role of Replenishment Planner:
- In a varied and challenging role, you will aim to be the continued supplier of choice by providing outstanding ‘first time’ stock availability for customers.
- You will be responsible for the replenishment of your depots, using a demand planning system and working closely with external suppliers, haulers and depot admin teams to make sure products are delivered into the business in line with customer needs.
- You’ll become an expert on your product category whilst using forecasting data to balance how much stock is needed to meet customer demands whilst minimizing stock loss.
- You will also be working with colleagues across Buying, Marketing, Depot teams and National Accounts, so being able to form good working relationships and communicate effectively will be essential.
