Strise's Customer Success Managers own the complete post-sale relationship: onboarding, adoption, retention, and growth. Our customers are compliance and financial crime teams at banks, fintechs, and financial institutions - people who spend their days finding the criminals hiding inside corporate ownership structures. When you do this job well, they get dramatically more efficient at it, and they utilise more of Strise as a result.
This is our first Customer Success hire in the UK. We're doubling down on Enterprise, and our UK book has outgrown what we can serve from Oslo. We need someone on the ground who can sit across the table from a Head of Financial Crime and be taken seriously. You'll own a growing number of UK based accounts end to end, carry a piece of our NRR number, and work alongside our AEs / solutions engineers / product specialists to build the UK customer success function from the ground up. There is no playbook waiting for you. You'll write it.
What you will be doing:
- Own the relationship, not just the account. Build trust with your UK client portfolio and know your customers well enough to spot what they need before they ask.
- Drive expansion. You'll carry a piece of our NRR number, spotting organic expansion opportunities, running the upsell process end-to-end.
- Protect what we've built. Prevent churn, catch degradation early, and keep customer satisfaction and adoption metrics healthy.
- Technical onboarding & Solution ownership. From kickoff to live: scoping the setup, configuring it, training the team, and driving adoption. Some implementations are technical, some aren't β you should be able to run either, and answer most customer questions without escalating.
- Own the commercial mechanics. Business reviews with the people who sign the contract. Renewals, procurement, vendor due diligence. Enterprise buying in financial services is a sport, and you'll be the one who plays it well.
- Be a go-getter. Ask questions, elevate internally when something needs attention, and manage stakeholders on both sides without waiting to be told.
- Bring a point of view. We want someone who can help shape the strategy for how we grow UK accounts, not just execute someone else's plan.
Minimum requirements:
- 5+ years in customer-facing roles at a B2B software company, with real commercial responsibility - renewals, upsell, or a number you owned.
- Experience selling to or supporting large financial institutions; comfortable in a room with compliance, risk, and procurement.
- Track record of hitting targets.
- Comfortable holding your own in a product conversation about an API product.
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience supporting pre-sales.
- Have hosted seminars and genuinely enjoy public speaking.
- Have worked with Nordic customers before.
Do not apply if:
- You think customer dialogues are best handled over email.
- You'd rather maintain an account than grow one.
- You panic when someone says 'API'.
- You need a 30-step manual before you take action.
- You think AI is a passing trend.
What you get:
- Real ownership of a UK client portfolio, with the autonomy to build the playbook as you go.
- A front-row seat as we scale Enterprise and open up a real UK presence.
- Competitive base salary plus upsell commission, equity, and a lunch allowance.
- A unique opportunity to join and impact a fast-growing scale-up with global ambitions in the field of anti-money laundering.
We're helping banks, fintechs, and financial institutions fight financial crime with AI, automation, and ambition. We're building something that matters, and we have fun doing it.
