Overview
My client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Prepper and is offering an attractive, negotiable salary and an up-to-date and organised working environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepping vehicle panels, including masking, removing corrosion, sanding, filling, priming and polishing
- Resealing panels if necessary
- Assessing and identifying different finished coatings, plastic repairs and refinishes and have the ability to complete plastics repairs
- Quality checking work, ensuring there are no defects, and report any issues to the line manager
Qualifications / Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 years refurbishment or accident repair experience
- Have all prepping skills
- Have proven experience of delivering high quality repairs
- Be confident in your ability and skills
- Be able to manage your own workload, working well as part of a team
- Be able to meet targets and deadlines, working effectively under pressure
- Work within all company and Health and Safety guidelines
- ATA and/or NVQ qualification will be an advantage but not essential if you have the skills and experience
