What you'll do

The EMEA Payments Product Lead role at Stripe is an opportunity to shape payments strategy across one of the world's most complex and fastest-growing regions, influencing everything from local payment methods and conversion performance to regulatory readiness and market expansion. It is a high-impact leadership role for someone who wants to combine strong product judgment, deep payments expertise, and cross-functional influence to drive measurable customer outcomes at scale.

You will lead EMEA payments product capabilities at the center of Stripe's long-term growth strategy. Working closely with merchants, partners, and cross-functional teams, you will translate a complex set of regional and strategic priorities into a clear, focused roadmap. With end-to-end ownership, you will define the vision, shape the product architecture, and drive execution across market expansion and core payment infrastructure. You will move with urgency to build and scale the systems behind critical payment flows across EMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Define a multi-year vision for EMEA Payments that anticipates future merchant and ecosystem scale and complexity
  • Lead Engineering and Design through every phase of the product lifecycle, from 0-to-1 development to General Availability
  • Enforce rigorous standards for product quality, API design, and system reliability, building trust with our largest enterprise users
  • Partner with Sales and go-to-market teams to pitch the product, win key deals, and translate user feedback into roadmap priorities
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the EMEA payment landscape, managing relationships with partners and ecosystem vendors
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with teams like Billing, Connect, and Checkout to deliver a cohesive platform experience
  • Mentor or manage emerging PM talent within the domain

Who you are

Minimum requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or a related product role
  • A track record of shipping technical B2B2C products at a high velocity
  • An obsession with product quality in all its forms—from API design to dashboard UX and documentation
  • Existing knowledge of the payments landscape or a demonstrated ability to learn complex domains quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for articulating user problems precisely
  • An ownership mindset—you are willing to do whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users
  • Ability to dig deep into data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results

Preferred qualifications

  • A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • The ability to understand complex systems at a deep technical level
  • Specific experience in payment orchestration or payment processing
