About The Team
Stripe is investing in building out its Payouts Sales team to actively engage and drive prospects and users to support their money movement and payouts needs in EMEA, to help them transform their businesses. Stripe\’s Global Product Sales team drives revenue and growth by helping users understand Stripe products and integrate them with ease so they can focus on their business. They serve as a critical source of user feedback and market intelligence, influencing Stripe\’s product roadmap and growth strategy.
What you’ll do
An Account Executive, Payouts, will work closely with users across EMEA to understand and optimise their payouts needs. This includes instant payouts, faster payouts, and Stripe’s Global Payouts. You will use sales and product expertise to drive growth in this space, collaborate with product, engineering, legal, marketing, and other GTM teams, and lead in-depth product discussions with existing and prospective customers while building and executing the go-to-market strategy.
You are an adept sales professional capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization. You are comfortable building value in competitive situations, working with clients and internal stakeholders, and sharing knowledge. You are an organized self-starter, an excellent communicator, analytical, and have a track record of improving processes and organizations around you.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for driving revenue, increasing attach rates, and new client acquisition of key users in EMEA, utilising the MEDDIIC deal qualification and opportunity management
- Develop relationships with executive stakeholders and lead discussions with existing and prospective marketplace customers
- Deeply understand the sales process and competitors for Stripe in this space and serve as an internal and customer-facing expert
- Engage with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and inform Stripe’s product roadmap
- Contribute to the development of go-to-market playbooks with product, marketing, sales, and technical services stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape Stripe’s products and solutions to meet customer needs
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. Preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of customer facing experience at a leading technology or payments company with a track record of top performance
- Experience building trusted advisor relationships with senior business leaders
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with cross-functional partners
- Self-starter capable of operating independently to drive meaningful business results
- Enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders
- Proven experience leading complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
- True team player

In-office expectations
Office in Stripe locations typically requires spending at least 50% of time in the local office or with users. This varies by role, team and location. Some teams have higher in-office requirements to support users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss.
Pay and benefits
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €158,100 – €237,100. For sales roles, this is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range and includes base salary plus commissions. The range may vary by location and level and will be refined during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants outside the primary location may request the salary range for their location during the interview process.
