You’ll learn ticket management, troubleshooting, system patching, and more while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Help resolve support tickets related to servers, desktops, laptops, and upgrades.
- Respond to alerts for patching, backup, and device performance.
- Deliver proactive, scheduled IT tasks and maintenance.
- Manage and resolve tickets promptly and professionally.
- Learn from experienced IT engineers and gain exposure to a variety of technologies.
Role Overview
As an IT Support Technician apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that IT systems operate at optimal performance. You’ll resolve user queries and troubleshoot issues within a helpdesk environment, supporting internal or external customers and improving their productivity.
Skills Development
Throughout your time, you’ll develop hard and soft skills, including configuring networks, managing user accounts and permissions, effective communication, problem‑solving, time management, and customer service.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (times to be confirmed).
