Stripe Communications is on the hunt for an ambitious, smart-thinking Account Manager to join the team with the potential to be based in London. If you want to work with incredible brands on creative campaigns and have broad consumer experience, this could be the role for you. Responsibilities / Position Overview

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous agency experience working on a broad cross section of consumer clients
  • Must hold strong contacts across traditional and new media outlets including print, broadcast, social first and online
  • A good understanding of the news and cultural agenda, social trends and what makes a successful earned story
  • Proven track record in delivering high impact high quality earned media coverage
  • Experience of working with influencers including contracting, management and evaluating results
  • Experience of working as part of a collaborative team
  • Passion, commitment and enthusiasm for what they do

ROLE INCLUDES

  • Developing editorial strategy and creative tactics that positively promote clients
  • Managing a busy Press Office to secure proactive earned media coverage, and handling reactive media enquiries
  • Propose, organise and facilitate events with key media and influencers, securing high quality coverage in return
  • Proactively pitch and secure earned coverage that aligns with client objectives
  • Negotiate, liaise and manage relationships with third party partners including influencers etc where relevant.

  • A passion for delivering great work
  • Strong contacts across traditional and new media outlets including print, broadcast, social first and online
  • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
  • A positive 'can do' attitude - a self-starter and team player, adept at working collaboratively
  • An ability to think creatively and be proactive in spotting opportunities
  • Experience of working under pressure and at a fast pace (ability to meet deadlines)
