A leading Asset Manager based in London is seeking an experienced Environments Manager for a 6-month initial contract with hybrid working arrangements (3 days onsite). The successful candidate will manage complex technical environments, coordinate with multiple vendors, and drive delivery within a multi-application ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and management of a multi-application ecosystem, including Azure, Snowflake, SWP, Eximius, X-Plan (iress applications), and M365 tools.
- Manage multiple vendors, including Enterprise IT, SEI Professional Services, SEI Sphere, and Objectway, ensuring cohesive collaboration and delivery.
- Apply core project management skills to coordinate activities across vendors, ensuring alignment and delivery of key milestones.
- Develop detailed plans covering instances, components, API details, ports, and other technical integrations.
- Facilitate and lead meetings with vendors and internal teams, driving agreement on detailed technical and delivery plans.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand architecture terminology and delivery requirements.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Environments Manager, Project Manager, or similar role within Asset Management or Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of technical architecture and ability to work with detailed technical terminology.
- Experience managing multi-application ecosystems with technologies such as Azure, Snowflake, SWP, Eximius, X-Plan (iress), and M365 tools.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple vendors and driving collaboration across third-party service providers.
- Solid project management skills, including planning, coordinating, and executing technical deliverables.
- Experience with API integrations and understanding of technical components (instances, ports, etc.).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
