C# Development Lead - Strike IT

1. Lead a small team (3-6) of expert C++ developers in designing and building low-latency, Real Time trading systems.
2. Develop and optimise algorithmic trading components – order placement, routing, market connectivity, and pricing.
3. Work closely with the trading desk to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Experience:

• 5-10+ years of experience in algorithmic or Real Time trading systems – ideally in energy, commodities, or financial markets.
• Proven hands-on development of trading algorithms (not just integration).
• Strong C++ programming expertise, including object-oriented design, performance tuning, and low-latency systems on Linux.
• Experience with exchange connectivity and market data services.
• Clear examples of team leadership, mentoring, and driving delivery in a trading tech environment.
• Proficiency with Git, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Python, Java, or other relevant development tools and languages.
• Experience with pricing, trade workflow, quantitative analysis, or risk management in gas/power/commodities markets.
