About Us
Strides of Strength Therapeutic Services, Inc. is expanding our innovative Farm School program to include homeschool, afterschool, and summer school offerings. Our nature-based facility provides children with a hands‑on, outdoor learning environment where they connect with animals, plants, and the rhythms of farm life while building academic and social‑emotional skills.

We strive to provide comprehensive therapeutic services and programs utilizing a variety of professional restorative aids, nature‑based learning, and skilled equine movements to facilitate physical and emotional growth, learning, and healing.
Position Overview
We are seeking a part‑time Instructor to join our dedicated staff. This role focuses on teaching and tutoring students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, blending traditional academics with experiential, nature‑based learning in our farm setting.
Responsibilities
- Teach and tutor students in grades K–5 across core subjects.
- Incorporate farm and nature‑based experiences into lessons.
- Support homeschool, afterschool, and summer school program expansion.
- Collaborate with current staff to create a positive and engaging environment.
- Foster curiosity, resilience, and respect for nature, animals, and community.
Qualifications
- Formal or informal experience working with children in grades K–5; may include classroom teaching, tutoring, Sunday school instruction, camp counseling, horseback riding lessons, or other youth‑focused activities.
- Ability to teach and tutor across multiple subjects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for outdoor, experiential learning in a nature‑based facility.
- No post‑secondary degree or teaching certificate required.
Schedule & Compensation
