About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to oversee mechanical systems at a large, complex site. You’ll manage the maintenance, compliance, and performance of critical systems, leading a team to ensure safe, reliable operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage specialist contracts, ensuring compliance and service quality.
- Oversee PPM programme and ensure plant reliability.
- Supervise statutory compliance maintenance and ensure accurate documentation.
- Contribute to asset lifecycle planning and risk identification.
- Support capital projects and manage technical specifications.
- Provide leadership, training, and development to the engineering team.
- Deputise for senior management and coordinate with other teams.
What You’ll Need:
- Mechanical engineering qualifications (experience in regulated environments).
- Experience as an Authorised Person for mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including process equipment.
- Familiarity with CAFM or asset management systems.
- Leadership and team management skills.
