Role Overview
As a Senior Investment Professional at Stride Ventures, you will play a key leadership role in expanding our footprint in the region. This role requires a seasoned investment professional with deep experience in structured credit or venture debt, capable of driving the firm’s regional investment strategy, sourcing and closing high-quality transactions, overseeing portfolio performance, and contributing to platform growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate, structure, and execute investment transactions, with a strong focus on the Saudi and broader Middle Eastern markets.
- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including financial analysis, due diligence, documentation, and closing.
- Maintain and grow a robust network of investors, founders, and key market stakeholders.
- Drive fundraising initiatives, investor engagement, and capital deployment strategies.
- Oversee portfolio performance, risk management, and value creation across investments.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Saudi financial laws and frameworks.
- Mentor and lead investment teams, fostering a high-performance culture and enabling successful transaction execution.
- Provide strategic input into firm-wide investment strategy and capital allocation.
- Represent the firm externally, demonstrating thought leadership and market credibility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15–20 years of relevant experience in lending, venture capital, investment banking, or a similar field.
- Proven credit transactional experience is a must, with a solid track record in deal structuring and execution.
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem is important, especially venture-stage investing and founder engagement.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and investor relations.
- Deep knowledge of investment strategies, portfolio management, and risk assessment.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
