Overview

Interior Designer position at Stride Treglown in Bristol, ENG, GB.

This full-time on-site role offers opportunities for career growth.

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our Bristol team and contribute to a variety of projects within a people-focused, inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Creative Lead on significant commercial and private sector developments across multiple buildings, responding to client needs and managing their expectations.
  • Convey ideas through visuals and carefully crafted presentations; deliver maximalist and alternative design solutions.
  • Apply excellent interior design knowledge; view non-standard design challenges positively.
  • Deliver a great client experience.
  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team; liaise with other consultants on design challenges; attend sites and coordinate with contractor teams during construction.
  • Carry out internal design reviews with the team.

Qualifications

  • Essential: interior design or interior architecture degree.
  • Strong client care skills with adaptability to changing demands.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and deliver projects through RIBA stages.
  • Excellent interior design product knowledge; ability to produce specification documents and schedules.
  • Working knowledge of British Standards and BSA legislation.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage own time and prioritise tasks.
  • Desirable: understanding of projects under traditional contract; production of rendered visuals (Enscape); knowledge and application of AI tools.
