About you: We are seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join our Winchester studio. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop and apply your delivery, technical, and communication skills within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, collaborating closely with colleagues, clients, and consultants to help shape and deliver thoughtful, well‑resolved design solutions. Our approach balances innovation with responsiveness, ensuring we consistently achieve high‑quality outcomes that meet both client aspirations and project requirements. You will play an active role throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the production of coordinated technical information and supporting the successful delivery of projects on site. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. There is strong potential for professional growth and development within the role, supported by a culture that encourages continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and progression. The successful candidate will be expected to actively engage with Revit, using it to support our BIM processes and wider digital technologies. A proactive approach to developing digital skills and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our technical workflows will be highly valued.
Essential Skills:
- A broad/general experience in construction with good working building/construction knowledge
- Degree qualified, or equivalent
- Desire to learn new construction techniques and solutions
- Good interpersonal skills to enable effective team working, communication with the client (as appropriate) and knowledge sharing across the studio / organisation
- Ability to resolve technical challenges and produce accurate technical information, with a level of flexibility of approach to a project
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of coordinating the work of associated professional consultants and potentially the internal design team.
- Ability to balance workload as the role may require you to balance more than one project at any one time.
- Working knowledge of Revit.
- BIM skills.
- NBS Experience.
- Producing, analysing and advising upon specification, materials selection and detailed design solutions in relation to performance and production criteria.
- Ensuring compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements for large and complex projects.
