We are on the lookout for talented a Graduate Technologist. We will consider both recent graduates and those with industry experience, to join our Bristol Studio. The role would suit a proactive individual who is looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking practice.
We want to provide you with opportunities to use and develop your delivery and communications skills whilst working within a stimulating multidisciplinary environment. We work on a diverse range of projects and pride ourselves on our innovative yet responsive approach to our client’s brief, providing quality in outcome and approach every step of the way.
We will ensure that you receive training and support from your local office including a technical buddy and a mentor. Knowledge of Revit is preferred although training will be provided in any case. We would expect the successful candidate to fully engage with Revit and use it to support our BIM technologies and processes.
Essential Skills
- Qualified to degree level (BSc Architectural Technology) or equivalent
- Desire to become a great Architectural Technologist, to learn new construction techniques and solutions
- Understanding of the RIBA Framework and Stages
- Good interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills
- Previous work experience within an architectural practice
- Proven ability to resolve technical challenges and produce accurate technical information
- Experience of co-ordinating the work of associated professional consultants
- Ability to balance workload as the role may require you to balance more than one project at any one time
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Level 2 BIM experience
- Baseline knowledge of the Building Safety Act
- Knowledge of other supporting software packages such as In Design and Photoshop
- Interest in MMC solutions
