We’re hiring a Senior Technician – Electrical for a leading UK housing provider. This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role, overseeing workplace technicians and ensuring high-quality maintenance, repair, and installation across the estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical lead and first point of escalation for technicians
  • Perform and supervise electrical maintenance, repairs, and installs
  • Manage day-to-day task allocation and resource planning
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Support training, toolbox talks, and contractor supervision
  • Carry out quality checks and reactive maintenance (electrical, basic plumbing, joinery, decorating)

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing)
  • Strong hands-on electrical experience and ability to travel between sites
  • Excellent communication and a customer-focused mindset
