We’re looking for a Senior Safety & Compliance Operations Officer to join our Building Safety Team in Wembley. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong fire safety experience who’s passionate about keeping people safe and ensuring buildings meet the highest safety standards.
What you’ll do
- Support the Safety & Compliance Specialist – Fire across all fire safety matters
- Review new build designs to make sure they meet fire safety and building regulations
- Identify changes in legislation and update policies to stay compliant
- Provide technical advice on fire safety systems, risk assessments, and installations
- Visit sites and work with external partners such as the Fire Brigade
- Lead and support your team, encouraging high performance and accountability
What we’re looking for
- Experience in fire safety, compliance, or building safety, ideally in housing or property
- Good understanding of fire risk assessments, fire protection systems, and building safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK fire safety legislation
Qualifications:
- Member of IFE, IFSM, or similar body
- Level 4 qualification in Fire Safety (or equivalent)
- Practical experience with fire risk assessment (e.g. IFE or CS Todd qualification)
