Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Commissioning Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This hands-on role involves installing, servicing, fault finding, repairing, and commissioning refrigeration and AC systems across a variety of sites in the UK and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and commission refrigeration and AC equipment on-site.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
- Lead jobs in the absence of the Senior Commissioning Engineer.
- Build and test refrigeration plants and compressors in-house.
- Carry out equipment handovers and basic user training.
- Produce reports for completed work, servicing, and training.
- Support inspection of incoming and outgoing parts and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Travel for UK and international site work as required.
Requirements:
- Formal refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years in refrigeration engineering (commercial/industrial).
- FGAS Category 1 certification.
- Good knowledge of refrigeration electrical and control systems.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to pass SC security clearance.
