A growing and forward-thinking consultancy is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join their team on a permanent, home-based basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, people-focused professional to support a wide range of clients, primarily within the education sector, including schools and academies, with additional work across other commercial environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing hands-on Health, Safety & Fire guidance to a portfolio of schools and commercial premises.
  • Conducting Fire Risk Assessments, general premises inspections, and creating tailored risk assessments and safety plans.
  • Delivering clear, professional advice and reports, often as a lone worker, requiring confidence and self-motivation.
  • Acting as a trusted consultant for clients, helping them meet safety standards and build safer environments.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum Cert IOSH membership (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a school or education setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience in a consultancy role is a plus – but not essential.
  • Must be based in the London region, with flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
