Description This Development Underwriter role is focused on driving growth of the mid-market book for this progressive international insurance firm - the business has invested into technology, systems, product and infrastructure; you'll now have senior underwriting authority to deploy and the backing of an A+ rated market.

As Development Underwriter, you will: Manage and develop a panel of c10-12 key brokers, with a remit to increase market share within property, liability and commercial combined.

Focus on new business, identifying and capitalising on opportunities through your knowledge, experience, skills and connections.

Hold a senior position in the team; this is a newly created role and holds senior underwriting authority and interfaces with management and internal stakeholders.

Be given the freedom and responsibility to work to your own plan - this is a home based role where you'll be encouraged to spend your time in front of brokers, with the full support of the regional office to lean on.
