This is a London based leadership role working, building and driving a team focussed on £100,000+ fee/income cases, a base salary of £150,000-£200,000 and the kind of bonus structure that can take total earnings to double.

The plan is to build a high-calibre regional team capable of winning and servicing substantial corporate accounts across the region with income levels starting at £100,000 and stretching well beyond that on the right opportunities. This is a full leadership role with ownership across business development, team build, technical direction and client service.

You will recruit and lead a team of around five or six Account Executives and Development Executives, while also taking personal responsibility for major opportunities and key relationships in the market. The reward reflects the size of the role and you will earn on the accounts you win personally and on the wins of the team you build, which makes this a compelling role for someone who wants proper financial upside as well as seniority.

  • Building and leading the London corporate team focused on major accounts across the city and the south east.
  • Recruiting, managing and developing a team of Account Executives and Development Executives.
  • Taking ownership of regional sales strategy and driving performance across the team.
  • Building strong relationships with major corporate clients, introducers and insurer partners.
  • Setting the standard for how larger opportunities are pursued, won and transitioned into ongoing client service.
  • Overseeing the servicing approach on key accounts once secured.
  • Helping define the culture, direction and long-term growth of the regional proposition.

An established corporate Account Director or Client Director already operating at this level. A high-calibre trading or development underwriter with the right pedigree, market credibility and corporate client exposure. Someone who wants both autonomy and accountability, and is motivated by building something meaningful rather than simply maintaining an existing book.
