We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Motor Fleet underwriter ready to take the next step in their career by joining a highly regarded Corporate insurance team, based in Birmingham. The team is well established, seen as a centre of excellence within the wider UK business, and continues to grow from a position of strength.

This role offers real ownership – from leading technical underwriting on large and complex cases, to managing broker relationships (alongside the BDMs), driving portfolio growth, and ensuring strong governance. You’ll be empowered to shape outcomes and contribute meaningfully to the business\’s continued success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Underwrite complex UK Corporate Motor Fleet cases, typically £250k+ GWP
  • Own and manage key broker relationships, ensuring mutual growth and alignment
  • Take the lead on strategic development of the portfolio, with a focus on profitable growth
  • Use modern data insights and analytics to support underwriting decisions and improve efficiency
  • Monitor and manage the performance of your book, ensuring compliance and best practice governance
  • Contribute to the team’s development and ongoing high performance
